Claims Service Out of Hours
Major losses are handled by our partner loss adjuster Cunningham Lindsey who should be contacted outside normal business hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) on the following numbers to report new major losses. Please state clearly that you are calling in connection with a Church of Scotland Insurance Scheme claim, since this should ensure that you speak to the right person.
For major Fire, Lightning or Explosion damage to Church, church hall and other church buildings insured under Section I of your policy, please call 0845 604 8580.
For any major loss that cannot wait until normal business hours, please call 0844 891 4254. You may be asked to quote the scheme policy number. These are 23973827CHC for Manse buildings and 23973837CHC for Contents, Liability and any other major losses.
This service operates 24 hours, 365 days a year. Please have your church scheme reference available (it is in the style of “M0001”). You will find it in the top right hand corner of your policy schedule.

In order for your queries to be dealt with speedily please have your Scheme reference number which is the 4 digit number beginning with C,W,L or M and your Aviva Scheme reference which is either 23973827CHC or 23973837CHC.
